Nomination Period Extended: Due to the impacts of the federal government shutdown on many of our members, we have extended the nomination period for the 2027 National Awards until December 15 at 11.59 PM ET.

Purpose

To recognize and encourage outstanding contributions to research in organic chemistry.

Description

The award consists of a medallion, a certificate, and $25,000. The award is presented biennially in odd-numbered years and the recipient will deliver a lecture at the Biennial National Organic Chemistry Symposium of the ACS National Meeting. Travel expenses to the symposium will be reimbursed.

Eligibility

The award will be granted regardless of race, gender, age, religion, ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation, gender expression, gender identity, presence of disabilities, and educational background.

Deadline

November 1 (Presented Biennially in Odd-Numbered Years) - Extended to December 15, 2025.
