Yutan Getzler
Professor of Chemistry
Kenyon College
BS, Chemistry, Beloit College
Ph.D., Chemistry, Cornell University
I grew up in a very rural setting in western Colorado with parents who did not do science, though they did greatly value education. I have lived all around the country and overseas. I teach at a highly selective liberal arts college where I teach five courses per year and run a small research group. My largest course will be ~35 students while the smallest will be 5. My group usually has 3-5 students and I have mentored nearly 30 between 2004-2022. In my independent career, as of 2022, I have been corresponding or co-corresponding author on papers in Nature Review Materials, Macromolecules, ACS Macro Letters, and Accounts of Chemical Research.
