Caroline Sangal

Caroline Sangal has a deep understanding of chemical technologies, markets, applications, roles and responsibilities, and what it takes to secure industrial positions. She earned a BS in Chemistry and a Ph.D. in Polymer Science, both from The University of Akron. Her chemical industry experience began in technical service, product development, and research roles. After a layoff, then being a stay-at-home parent, she returned to work as an executive recruiter and coached hundreds of people through chemical industry career transitions. Wanting to make a bigger impact, she founded Next Success, an elite and transformative career coaching company.

She joined the ACS Career Consultants in 2024 and her focus areas include assisting with self-discovery, career changes, job search strategy, interviewing, negotiating, and returning to work after a layoff or serving as a caregiver. Caroline has been described as an enthusiastic, caring, compassionate optimist who sees the best in others and reminds them of their unique awesomeness.
