Plan your watch party for ACS Program-in-a-Box

Register for “Picture Perfect Chemistry”

After registering, you will receive an email asking you to reply and confirm that your shipping address is correct as entered. ACS staff will then make sure that we can ship to your address and as needed, follow up with any questions.

Keep in the know

Add “ACS Program-in-a-Box” (multimedia@acs.org) to your VIP contacts list! We will update you as more information and planning resources are added to the website, including downloads like marketing graphics, editable flyers, and handouts.

Open the box

Don’t wait until October 23rd to open the box! There are editable flyers, instructions, and other resources to help you plan your watch party, not just giveaways for the group.

Reserve a room and advertise to your group

Make sure you have a room with enough seating, fast internet for the livestream and WIFI for your attendees, loud speakers, and pizza (the pizza is optional but highly recommended). Use the provided marketing graphics and flyers to promote the event to your members. Don’t forget to remind them to bring a smartphone or tablet to compete in the ChemClash trivia, submit questions for the Q&A, and post photos and videos with #ACSPIB.

New for 2024: In addition to the livestream join link, we will also share links to the social media photo wall and ChemClash Trivia leader board. Plan for a multi-screen experience!

Test the join link

We will email you a unique join link for the livestream in October. We recommend testing it prior to the day of the event and in the room you reserved, if possible.

“It’s a great event for us, and a fantastic way to help our members feel connected to their university community and to ACS as a whole…The fact that the entire event is essentially sent to us, pre-made, in a box makes the event very low maintenance. Because of this, we are able to focus more locally on promotion, acquiring food, and reserving space. This is where the focus is most important and the box concept frees us up to be able to do this.”
