Opportunity Description:

The Barbie Laboratory in the department of Breast Oncology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute/Harvard Medical School focuses on identifying new therapeutic targets for triple negative breast cancer (TNBC). Dr. Thanh Barbie is seeking a highly motivated and qualified postdoctoral candidate interested in pursuing several projects aimed at understanding mechanisms of triple negative breast cancer with a focus on its translational applicability to the clinical setting. The projects will have a dual focus on performing in vitro mechanistic studies in triple negative breast cancer cell lines and in vivo studies using mouse models of triple negative breast cancer. The position will require a core foundation of molecular and cellular biology, biochemistry, tissue culture, and some basic training in mouse modeling and epigenetics.
